Nokia continues to embrace the spirit of the ’90s!

Ana sayfa / News

Back in the late ’90s and early 2000s, when someone mentioned a mobile phone, Nokia was probably the first thing that came to mind. However, with the dominance of smartphones in the market, Nokia‘s popularity declined. While the brand tried to make a comeback with Android smartphones, it hasn’t given up on its feature phones.

Nokia still embraces feature phone models

Nokia has unveiled two new phone models named Nokia 130 and 150. These phones look like they came straight from 20 years ago and evoke a sense of nostalgia with their features. Their small screens, low-resolution cameras, and long battery standby times of up to a month take us back to the past.

Starting with the older sibling, Nokia 150, this phone comes in three different color options and features a 2.4-inch QVGA display. The new feature phone, powered by a removable 1,450 mAh battery, promises a standby time of up to a month. The phone’s 0.3-megapixel resolution camera is truly a nostalgia-inducing gem.

Samsung was defeated by Apple at home: Switching from Android to iPhone reached its peak!

According to a research conducted in South Korea, the transition from Android to iPhone has seen a significant increase.

On the other hand, Nokia 130 has the same size screen and a removable battery but lacks a camera. We believe that the absence of a 0.3-megapixel camera at this point is more of an advantage. Additionally, both phones are IP52 certified, meaning they are resistant to water and dust, although not entirely waterproof.

Nokia has also developed special software for these entry-level phones. The updated software includes an enhanced version of the Snake game. It seems that the Finland-based company is fully embracing the spirit of the ’90s.

Nokia continues to develop feature phone models, taking into account different needs. What are your thoughts on Nokia and its new feature phones? Feel free to share your opinions in the comments section.
